Our number one priority is your health, safety, and well-being. We are closely monitoring developments at our local health departments, and IHG is in contact with global organizations, including the World Health Organization (WHO) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), to ensure the actions we take are comprehensive and suitable.
Our team members consistently practice IHG Way of Clean, designed to improve hygiene and sanitation as well as prevent illnesses. Considering the recent COVID-19, we have increased these efforts significantly, including:
- Increasing hand-sanitizing stations to enable team members and guests to clean their hands more frequently;
- Increasing the cleaning of public areas (including lobby, elevators, door handles, public bathrooms) and high-touch points in the guestrooms;
- Adhering to physical distancing guidelines throughout shared spaces;
- Monitoring health departments at the local, state and federal levels to ensure we receive the latest updates and protocols; and
- Distributing critical information among key team members and business partners to help prevent illness.
